Sergey is a recognized practitioner with vast experience in the areas of dispute resolution, bankruptcy and distressed assets recovery in Russia.
Since 2001, Sergey has been managing his own law firm, which in different years was accredited by state corporations: the Agency for the restructuring of credit organizations (ARCO) and the Deposit insurance agency (DIA), as well as the Sberbank of Russia, the main bank of the Russian federation.
Previously, in 1992-2000, Sergey managed legal services: Modern business technologies, Business systems development, Kolenergo, Trinfico.
In 2011-2017, he was the leader of the dispute resolution and bankruptcy practices in the "Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & partners" and controlled a team of 60 lawyers.
Starting from 2017, he has been the Managing Partner at Kovalev Tugushi & Partners.
