15 million rubles which the Bank is ready to spend for investigators’ services will at best be enough to search for three or four runaway debtors – says Sergey Kislov, partner of the Moscow Law Firm “Kovalev, Tugushi & Partners”. But it will be possible to save on litigation costs, the expert continues: «Using services of these private investigators the Bank will make a decision, whether it should do any actions at all and hire lawyers. If there is no property, then the bank may not spend money on it. Any information obtained in accordance with the law may be submitted to the court. But it should be remembered that this information will in any case be used to determine competent debt collection tactics”.
